During my mandatory internship, I worked as a UX designer at the Mannheim online marketing company "PERFORMANCE ONE" for six months. I continued in this position as a working student for an additional semester. My tasks primarily involved design and analysis. Design-wise, I worked on website designs, implemented websites using WordPress, created general designs, and participated in the creation and redesign of the internal newsletter. Analytically, I contributed to UX analyses of existing sites, documenting the results in presentations. Additionally, I handled extra tasks such as sending internal newsletters. To the websiteDevelopment and implementation of a landing page and a microsite for SAMSUNG SDI EU, aimed at positioning them as an attractive employer. The pages follow Samsung's clean and sterile design style but are filled with interactivity. This was also the first website I created using WordPress and Elementor. In total, I designed nine pages each for desktop and mobile.

To the websiteDesign of an online portfolio for the grand opening of the fashion boutique "Story of a Lady" in Mannheim. In addition to internally developed branding for colors and imagery, I had complete design freedom. The modern and upscale design highlights the collections and provides a luxurious user experience. The website includes six pages each for desktop and mobile and was ultimately created by my colleagues using Webflow.

What I did
Research, mockups, UX design, UI design, graphic design, sendig of newsletter, process optimization, creation of templates
Redesign and process optimization of the "PERFORMANCE ONE" newsletter. In addition to a user-centric design, I was responsible for the monthly creation and distribution of the newsletter. Therefore, I revamped the outdated creation process, established a new workflow for increased efficiency, and created a template with instructions for future contributors. The design incorporates bold, interactive, and AI-generated elements to provide a modern and memorable user experience.
My year at PERFORMANCE ONE allowed for both personal and creative growth. I had the opportunity to work with numerous experts on real client projects, gaining a profound insight into the industry and the underlying processes. Besides acquiring many new practical experiences and learning new tools, I also gained valuable insights into interpersonal dynamics, teamwork, and communication – whether among colleagues or with clients. I am extremely grateful for all the learnings and the time I spent with the company and, most importantly, with the teams.
